You know how San Francisco hosted the signing of the UN Charter in 1945?
Now you have the chance to participate in the same type of history-making!
San Francisco is hosting a two-week set of Asia-Pacific diplomatic meetings -- the largest ever held in California.
Three thousand delegates including cabinet-level ministers, ambassadors, technical officials, and business and non-profit leaders are coming here to talk through how to expand economic growth, and to do it sustainably.
As part of these talks, Secretary of State Hilary Clinton will hold a summit on Women and the economy. There are other events with Energy Secretary Steven Chu, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sibelius.
We need lots of people to help run this event and show how welcoming and international our city and state are.
The State Department will provide training, Secretary Clinton will send you a thank you letter, and it's a great thing to add to your resume and brag to your family and friends.
