Adults 55 plus your skills and talents will make a huge difference to the local Museum of Science and History to continue to provide needed community services. A variety of positions are needed:
- Field Trip/Scheduling Assistant, Astronomy Demonstrator/Planetarium Assistant
- Floor Demonstrator, Information Table/Exhibit Docent
- Animial Keeping Assistant, Collections Technician, Kidspace Assistant.

Mission Statement
Develop a variety of volunteer opportunities for community services for people, aged 55 and better, willing to share their experience, abilities, and skills for the betterment of their community and themselves.
Description
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is funded in part by a federal program entitled The Corporation for National and Community Service and the City of Jacksonville.
The dual purpose is to engage seniors 55 and better in volunteer service that meets critical community neeeds; and to provide a high quality volunteer experience that will enrich their lives.
