Extend the life of books by performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs, allowing the library items to return to the collection and avoiding replacement costs and preserving rare or irreplaceable items.
Repairing damaged books includes repairing book covers; replacing dust jackets; cleaning books; taping torn pages; sewing and tip signatures; repairing hinges; and repairing loose covers and/or contents.
