Adults 55 and over with caring hearts are needed to represent and advocate for the best interest of abused children in the court system by serving as Guardian Ad Litems.

Guardian Ad Litem also needs receptionists at their main office to handle phone calls and welcome guests.

Develop a variety of volunteer opportunities for community services for people, aged 55 and better, willing to share their experience, abilities, and skills for the betterment of their community and themselves.

Description

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is funded in part by a federal program entitled The Corporation for National and Community Service and the City of Jacksonville.

The dual purpose is to engage seniors 55 and better in volunteer service that meets critical community neeeds; and to provide a high quality volunteer experience that will enrich their lives.
