ORGANIZATION: RSVP of Snohomish County

  • 8 people are interested

If you like to 'play' in the dirt you'll like volunteering at this local Senior Center.

They need someone to assist with taking care of the flower beds and gardens.

You get to help beautify an already lovely area by weeding, raking, trimming and when the situation calls for it, pulling a weed or two.

The work is low stress and high reward. The Center is visited by hundreds of people a week and they appreciate the time and effort you put into making it look nice.

Of course there will be lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling and carrying as part of this job. You need to be able to handle the physical demands of the job.

A few hours a week is what's needed on your part to make this Senior Center the jewel of the neighborhood!

This opportunity is posted by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program. RSVP is dedicated to helping persons over 55 have a meanigful volunteer experience in their community.
