The VNA & Hospice of Southern California is currently recruiting volunteers to provide one on one support to our hospice patients. Hospice Patient Care Volunteers fill an essential role in total patient care by working directly with patients and families to provide individual patient support and/or respite support to caregivers. Hospice Patient Care Volunteers can sit with patients for socialization, read a book, watch a movie, hold a hand, listen to a story or simply sit as a responsible party in a home while the caregiver runs personal errands. Hospice Patient Care Volunteers do not aid in any personal or medical care of the hospice patient.
The VNA & Hospice of Southern California is a community based, non-profit 501(c)(3) home care agency that has provided care for the ill and disabled in our community for more than 55 years. We serve patients throughout the entire Inland Empire and have offices in both Claremont and San Bernardino.
