The Health Ministry of the Souther Tier in Corning, NY needs several front office receptionist. You will be responsible to greet patients, use computer to update information, schedule patients, answer phone, receive mail, copying and track volunteer time. You should also be willing to learn electronic medical records program and how to scan records into medical charts.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and good organizational and computer skills. Training will be provided.
Looking for licensed RN's and LPN's to staff clinics with various providers.
Trained dental assistants needed for dental clinics to work with volunteer dentists.

Volunteers make a difference!
AmeriCorps Seniors of Steuben County provides opportunities for people ages 55 and over to make a significant impact in their communities through volunteering. Volunteers contribute anywhere from a few hours a month to over 40 hours a week serving in their communities. Opportunities to serve include volunteering at local hospitals and nursing homes, schools, food pantries, public safety programs, and other nonprofit agencies and organizations. RSVP staff assist volunteers in sharing their experience, abilities and skills for the betterment of the community and themselves. Volunteer orientation, on-site training, supplemental insurance (while on duty), and mileage reimbursement are free services available for RSVP volunteers.
