Cruise for a cause when you pick-up and deliver Precious Essentials to meet the needs of our clients and partnering organizations. A Precious Child has numerous drop off locations so it is convenient for the community to make donations. We need drivers to help pick up and drop off bins and items that have been donated all through out the year.
Time Commitment: One or multiple shifts per week. (Flexible options available, please ask!)
Schedule Options: Flexible options available, Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. We are happy to work with your availability!
About A Precious Child: A Precious Child is dedicated to providing basic essentials to children and families in Colorado that are poverty-stricken, homeless, abused, at-risk or facing a huge life challenge and without access to basic needs. The mission of A Precious Child, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to making a positive impact in the lives of disadvantaged and displaced children and families in Colorado by improving their quality of life. A Precious Child, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential. A Precious Child envisions a future where every child grows up to be a secure, self-reliant, contributing member of their community.
Description
A Precious Child assists children and families facing difficult life challenges such as abuse and neglect, crisis situations, and poverty. We work with more than 300 agency partners throughout eight counties which include Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson, and Weld Counties to identify children and families in the most need of our services. Our core initiatives help build the whole child, in addition to meeting basic human needs through our Resource Center, we also help children and their families navigate community resources.
We aim to bridge the gap in a child’s education so that they can become a secure, self-reliant, contributing member of their community as adults.
