VITAS Healthcare is looking for artists to volunteer to help terminally ill patients and their families express themselves when words fail them. Artists help a patient paint or color a picture, create a scrap book or collage, or decorate their room. The artist shares their talents in therapeutic ways all while encouraging the patient’s creative process.

VITAS provides training on how to work with people at the end of life. The artist provides talent, compassion and time. Assignments are made according to the volunteer’s time and location.
