YL Volunteer Leaders will initiate and build honest, unconditional friendships with high school or junior high school students. Those friendships will often give them opportunities, when the time is right, and without being pushy, to share their own experience of how Christ has impacted their life. YL Leaders also help plan and lead weekly YL Club, go to camp as leaders and run weekly discipleship groups known as Campaigners.

Young Life utilizes the vehicle of honest, unconditional friendships to "earn the right to be heard" regarding life and faith. These friendships allow us to offer weekly YL Club, summer camping opportunities and small groups to foster spiritual growth.
