Volunteers are needed to deliver meals to homebound seniors throughout the Spotsylvania, King George and Caroline counties. Volunteers deliver meals once a week on a weekly basis. The meals are picked up at RAAA Office (171 Warrenton Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22405) and delivered to the seniors. One and a half to two hours delivery time is required. Training is provided. Meals are not delivered on weekends, holidays or during inclement weather.

Rappahannock Area Agency on Ading serves the needs and acts on behalf of persons aged sixty and older in the City of Fredericksburg and the surrounding counties of King George, Caroline, Spotsylvania and Stafford.
Description
The Rappahannock Area Agency on Aging, Inc. (RAAA) is a private nonprofit corporation established in July 1976, under the code of Virginia, to administer programs under the Older Americans Act and federal Administration on Aging.
Our organization is providing free, one-on-one assistance to people with Medicare and their families via telephone and face-to-face sessions, public education presentations and other programs. Through the CMS MedicareRx Volunteer Initiative, volunteers at our organization will be given the opportunity to work directly with people with Medicare to help them understand their prescription drug plan options and join a plan that will best suit their prescription drug needs if they choose.
