GRASP has adoptable cats in six cages at Petco-Greece and one cage at Pet World in Greece. We need volunteers willing to be on our sub list to help cover for our weekly cage cleaners when they are not able to make their shift. There are morning and evening shifts.
Cage Cleaning includes scooping litter, changing bedding as needed, providing fresh food and water and prepping cages for a new kitty when one leaves.
On site training is provided. The time required to clean the cages at Petco will depend on how many cages are full and how many are empty and require cleaning. If all six are full it will take about an hour. Pet World usually takes a maximum of 20 mintues.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, have their own transportation and attend an Orientation Session which takes just over an hour.
