Office Assistant- Do you love interacting with people? Then this may be the perfect role for you! Office Assistants provide essential support to A Precious Child by serving as the friendly face of the agency for clients. Office Assistant Volunteers answer phones, schedule appointments, welcome new and returning clients to A Precious Child, and check them into our computer database. This is a highly interactive position and is a seated position. This position may require some computer training.

*A Precious Child has an immediate need for Bilingual Office Assistants to assist us in better serving our Hispanic Clients.

Time Commitment: One or more 2 hour shift(s) per week

Schedule Options: Mon - Fri: 9:00am to 11:00am, 11:00am to 1:00 pm, 1:00pm to 3:00 pm or 3:00pm to 5:00pm.

A Precious Child, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential. A Precious Child envisions a future where every child grows up to be a secure, self-reliant, contributing member of their community.

Description

A Precious Child assists children and families facing difficult life challenges such as abuse and neglect, crisis situations, and poverty. We work with more than 300 agency partners throughout eight counties which include Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson, and Weld Counties to identify children and families in the most need of our services. Our core initiatives help build the whole child, in addition to meeting basic human needs through our Resource Center, we also help children and their families navigate community resources.

We aim to bridge the gap in a child’s education so that they can become a secure, self-reliant, contributing member of their community as adults.
