Help Kinship plan monthly events to offer to participants in the Kinship program. We would love to have someone be very creative and have some new ideas of activities that kids from ages 5-18 might enjoy along with the adults accompanying them.
We would like to offer a variety of activities so lots of fun in planning as well as implementing. We need organized persons with great creative skills to help our small staff to make these events special for the participants.
Our events are nearly monthly so typically you would have a couple of meetings to discuss, plan, delegate and the rest is putting those ideas into action. We need people of all talents.

About Kinship Greater Twin Cities
Location:
1100 East Lake Street, Minneapolis, MN 55407, US
Mission Statement
Kinship Greater Twin Cities believes that every young person needs a role model. Kinship youth are matched with community mentors who foster supportive, holistic, and authentic relationships. Mentors and mentees are carefully matched based on common interests, aspirations and, when desired, faith connections. Kinship believes that the mentoring relationship is a mutually beneficial opportunity for all parties to grow. Kinship commits to providing resources and opportunities for youth and their families throughout the greater Twin Cities.
Description
Kinship actively invites individuals, couples and families into mentoring relationships with boys and girls ages 5-15. Focused on building lasting friendships through fun activities and quality time, the mentoring program creates sustained, supportive connections capable of giving youth the life skills they need to succeed. Kinship's mentoring model requires mentors to spend 2-4 hours per week with their mentee and are encouraged to participate in community events and activities centered around the youth's interests. Discovering new experiences together is also encouraged, opening the door for academic, social, and emotional growth. Life skills and work preparedness are also essential to our mentoring model, as well as optimism for the future and healthy living.
