Transition House is a program for homeless families with children in Santa Barbara. We are looking for a bilingual volunteer (Spanish and English) who is interested in assisting our case managers.
The volunteer meets with some of our shelter residents in an one-on-one meeting to address topics our case managers may request. Beyond that, the volunteer lends an ear to news residents may want to share. Volunteer hours are Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This position does require training in confidentiality, boundaries, note taking, and file managing.
For more information contact Nicole!
