Currently Feline Rescue offers monthly free nail clippings at the Shakopee Chuck and Don's store. This is an established location with a number of regular clientele depending on receiving nail clippings for their cats (8-10) .
Sub(s) is needed for this location on September 12th from 11:00AM - 1:00PM. In addition to clipping cats' nails, the volunteer offers tips to owners on nail clipping and information on the best scratching posts/surfaces if requested.
If you are comfortable and have experience clipping cats' nails, like to talk to people about cats and their care and are interested in filling for this particular date, this might be the opportunity for you. All you need to bring is your favorite nail clippers.

Our mission does not enable us to accept owner surrendered animals. Feline Rescue improves the Twin Cities community through education, spay/neuter programs and outreach activities that help all people responsibly enjoy the companionship of cats.
Description
Feline Rescue, Inc. is a Minnesota based no-kill companion cat rescue organization. Our founders established Feline Rescue in 1997 in Minneapolis, MN as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all volunteer organization, with no paid staff. We are funded exclusively through donations and grants. We receive no municipal, state, or federal funding.
Our mission is to provide safe shelter, veterinary care, and socialization for stray, abandoned or abused cats until good permanent homes can be found for them. Our mission does not enable us to accept owner surrendered animals.
We provide rescue and relief to the homeless and endangered cats in our community through programs that offer shelter, foster, social and medical rehabilitation, feral cat colony management, spay/neuter subsidy, and community education.
