The West Alabama Area Agency on Aging will train you to help your peers understand their Medicare benefits and options. Start off shadowing other volunteers and then see what is the best fit for you: Counseling one on one, helping with incoming calls and follow up, presenting educational programs to groups, partnership development in the community, fraud prevention, etc.
