We are looking for volunteers to staff NCAC Arts on the Square, our gallery and education space. We are open Wednesdays through Fridays from 11 am to 6 pm, and Saturdays 10 am to 3 pm.
We need administrative staff to help with art consignment, answer the phone, provide information to the general public and perform inventory.
These volunteers are the face of Arts on the Square to both our members and the public, making sure that everyone who walks through our entrance is greeted warmly and has the information they need to make their museum experience an enjoyable one.
The position rotates between the register/sales area, while also requiring the ability to stand for periods of time as the volunteers proactively move through the gallery looking for visitors who may need their help.

The North Country Arts Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing and promoting the arts in northern New York. e represent all areas of the arts - music, theatre, dance, literary arts, visual arts, and crafts. Our vision for the future is that residents of the North Country will be able to look to NCAC as a clearing house of opportunities for artists, get information about upcoming classes, and learn more about the programs we offer.
