Approach event attendees and establish an immediate rapport. Invite them to sign up to donate blood, volunteer and/or host a blood drive. Determine what partnership opportunities may exist with each individual.
Greet attendees, answer questions, discuss Red Cross programs, hand-out literature and promotional items (if available).
Always represent Red Cross positively and professionally. Stay helpful, flexible and patient.
Pick up, load, unload, set up and display materials in outreach bins.

Description
Blood collections have been present in SW Washington since the late 1940's. We are active in the community educating individuals about the importance of donating blood. We run blood drives in six counties in Southwest Washington. Other services we provide include disaster relief, health and safety, and international support. Support in all areas help us live up to our mission.
