Harbor Light Hospice is seeking individuals in the Michigan City area to spend quality time with terminally ill patients or provide a break to their families. Volunteers socialize, play cards, watch TV, discuss today's current events, read aloud, engage in life review, or simply hold a hand. It is our goal to assist those with a life limiting illness to continue to enjoy life.
Most of our patients live at The Arbors, Clare Bridge, Life Care, Rittenhouse, Sterling House, and occasionally a private residence.

We are committed to providing comfort of mind, body and spirit. Our specially trained staff helps manage pain and symptoms, thereby enabling patients to live their lives as fully as possible. In addition, our team members create a comforting environment and provide emotional support to families who need help coping with the loss of a loved one.
