POSITION PURPOSE:
To provide support to the Center Collections Department by greeting and signing in blood donors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Greet donors as they arrive for their donations.
2) Provide the donor with any information they need to read before donating.
3) Keep a tally of donors that present to donate & sign donor in.
4) Inform the collections staff that donors have arrived and are ready to start the donation process.
5) Ensure resign sign up sheet is on canteen table
6) Ensure all presenting donors receive raffle tickets for monthly raffle and/or current promotional raffles if applicable
7) Ensure sign to direct donors to donor room is posted whenever on break or at lunch
8) Conduct closing procedures for desk
REPORTS TO:
Apheresis Recruitment Supervisor
HOURS OF WORK:
4th and 5th Saturday of each month from 10:30a to 2p. May also have other Saturdays as needed
