- More than 400 Polk County children have been identified as struggling with their home situations and growing up in single-family homes.
- These children need a friend/buddy outside of their families and peers to listen & talk with and serve as a role model. An orientation is provided.
- As a School-Based Big Brother/Big Sister (age 16- Adult), spend just 1 hour a week during the school year. Background checks required & provided.
- Visits can be in the school Media Center (library) or Boys & Girls Club, having lunch in the school cafeteria, shooting hoops or working on homework together.
