The Petaluma Visitors Center, located in the Historic Depot Building on E. Washington Street is seeking volunteers for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This position is ideal for a "people person" who enjoys meeting and greeting the public. Volunteers provide advice about activities, events, local points of interest, shopping, lodgings and dining. Volunteers should be familiar with the area and able to provide directions. Volunteers work alongside more experienced staff. Three hour shifts available: 10am-1pm & 1pm-4pm.

Description
The Petaluma Visitors Center, open seven days a week, welcomes visitors from all over the world. The Visitors Center relies heavily on volunteers to augment a small, part-time staff. Knowledge about local attractions and points of interest is required, as is a desire to help people. Training is provided and volunteers work alongside experienced staff.
