Looking to help us in your community?
The Community Outreach Volunteer is vital because you become the face of Mackenzie's at special events, fundraisers and other community activities. You will meet and talk with people, educate them as to who we are, what we do and what opportunities there are from adoption, volunteering and donation.
Every connection you make can make an impact in the life of a no-kill rescue dog! We will pair you with a veteran volunteer for training in the field for your first or subsiquent outings.

To find loving homes for abused, abandoned and neglected dogs. To spay/neuter our rescued dogs to stop the cycle of unwanted litters. To assist in public education for the betterment of our animal community by promoting responsible pet ownership. To maintain the highest standards of care for the animals, including veterinary care, housing, love, tenderness and compassion.

Who is a Mackenzie's Animal Sanctuary Volunteer?
Anyone can volunteer at MAS. We will find the right fit for you! We have dog handling volunteer positions open, as well as office work, maintenance, and cleaning positions.
Donate as much or little time as you have available.
Open 365 days a year to volunteer!
Experience the rewards of working with great companion dogs!
There are so many different ways you can make a diference in the life of a rescued dog that is awaiting adoption or may stay with us the remainder of their life.
Our no-kill sanctuary has many different volunteer opportunities posted for helping at the Sanctuary as well as closer to home.
