Please Note: The opportunity described below is through FiftyForward RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program.) For RSVP volunteer opportunities, you must be at least 55 years of age.
Nashville CARES is an HIV/AIDS prevention, education, testing, and social services agency that works to prevent the spread of HIV and provides social services for their clients with HIV.
Volunteers are needed to work the Choice Food Pantry in 2 hour shifts. The Choice Food Pantry allows clients to select special foods provided by Nashville CARES that they otherwise would not receive. Volunteers assemble the orders of packaged foods into bags and distribute them directly to clients.Volunteers are needed for the following shifts: Tuesday, Aug. 12 1:00-3:00, Wednesday, Aug. 13 11:00-1:00, and Wednesday, Aug. 13 1:00-3:00.
Initial interview and orientation for this opportunity take place at FiftyForward RSVP, 174 Rains Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203.
