We need you! Seniors, retirees, high school or college students!
Community Hospital Long Beach Foundation welcomes volunteers to work in our Gift Shop. Funds from sales help support programs, services, and equipment for Community Hospital Long Beach.
Gift Shop hours are Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday's from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are also open longer hours anSaturdaydy periodically.
The Gift Shop always has complimentary coffee available to welcome our visitors and staff, as well appropriate holiday items, boutique items, accessories, CHLB items, a Tenderly Touched used table, candy, soft drinks, greeting cards, movie tickets, stamps and more.
If you would like to volunteer please contact us -- come for a visit and take-a-peek! An opportunity to make new friends and volunteer in a beautiful fun environment
All you need is a friendly attitude, a willingness to learn and a commitment to give-back by volunteering! Two hours or more at a time is all we need, come and see us!

Description
Community Hospital Long Beach has served the local and surrounding communities since 1924. Our beautiful Spanish style building is on the list of Long Beach Historic Landmarks and is located adjacent to the Traffic Circle in East Long Beach.
Community Hospital Long Beach, since 2011 a campus of MemorialCare Health System, is known as the "kind, gentle and nurturing" hospital and our staff members are one of CHLB’s greatest assets offering compassionate care to patients. The alliance with MemorialCare Health System brings new technology and equipment that will enhance CHLB’s ability to treat patients more efficiently and effectively. The alliance also serves to attract top-tier medical talent to our community.
Community Hospital Long Beach has an active and well-regarded volunteer program. Volunteers work side-by side with staff and perform a variety of duties. Hours and assignments are flexible. In addition, new programs are emerging and/or being developed where volunteer services are and will be needed.
*Please note: we do not accept volunteers seeking to complete court ordered community service hours.
