One part of the T.O.U.C.H. Program is the Pilot Recycling Employment Program (P.R.E.P.). The goal of this program is to teach program participants how to recyle electronics in order to obtain valuable job skills.
Before we can launch the employment program, we need volunteers to help us demanufacture donated electronics. These items will help us raise money for P.R.E.P. start up costs.

Mission Statement
T.O.U.C.H. (Teaching Opportunity Unity by Connecting Hearts) serves at-risk and vulnerable populations in Central Ohio. Our mission is to "reach out and touch" the lives of individuals and families, empowering them to achieve self-sufficiency, positive relationships, and economic success. We help to restore communities by restoring lives.
Description
MCS (Metropolitan Community Services) was founded in 1984 to serve vulnerable populations in the Columbus area. In 2008, T.O.U.C.H. (Teaching Opportunity Unity by Connecting Hearts) joined MCS to provide mentoring and workforce development to formerly incarcerated men and women.
Originally focused exclusively on reentry, T.O.U.C.H. expanded its services to at-risk youth in 2010. Our agency now provides mentoring, workforce development, educational guidance, case management, and basic needs assistance both to low-income youth and to pre- and post-release adults.
