Help us to support Murphy Harpst Childrens Center. Work in the warehouse to sort and organize the donations in preparation for putting them out in the store. Do you like rummaging around at yard sales? Do you enjoy organizing a mess? If so, this volunteer position is for you.

Our donations arrive all mixed together (clothes, books, movies, decor, linens, sports equipment) in a box or trash bag. We open the donations, sort them out and put them in the store. This can feel like a big treasure hunt, or work depending on your personality.

Because the donations have sometimes been in a garage, attic or basement, occasionally the items will need to be cleaned or dusted. If you are allergic to dust, this position is not for you.

Mission Statement

The Hope Store is dedicated to Children and helping those in need. We support our Children's HOPE for the future by committing Resources, Funds, and Faith Dedicated Services to our community - Partnering Together for Success.

Description

The Hope Stores opened in 2010 as a solution for the need of non-profit charities for funding in this economy. The communities around the stores donate items which we sell. 100% of the store profit is then distributed to the various charities we support.
