ORGANIZATION: Youth Tutoring Program

The Youth Tutoring Program at Jackson Park is an after-school/evening educational enrichment program for at-risk students in 1st through 12th grades living in the Lake City neighborhood. With tutoring centers in six low- and mixed-income public housing communities in Seattle, YTP provides more than 450 kids with a fun, positive, and stimulating environment to explore learning and experience academic and personal success.

Volunteers tutor for 1-2 hours, 1 evening per week (or more!).
Tutoring centers are staffed by experienced educators/youth providers.

School Year Center Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 4:20-7:40PM

Our Jackson Park tutoring center is conveniently located in the neighborhood of Lake City. Students live within this housing community and either walk/bike to their neighborhood tutoring center. Come be a part of this amazing community!

VOLUNTEER NOW

The Youth Tutoring Program (YTP) is an after-school educational enrichment program for vulnerable first through twelfth-grade students who live in six low- and mixed-income housing communities in Seattle. Started as a partnership with the Seattle Housing Authority in 1991, the tutoring centers provide youth with a safe, positive, and stimulating environment to explore learning and experience academic and personal success.
