Volunteers with a passion for positively influencing the next generation need apply! The NVFS Head Start program is seeking volunteers knowledgeable in areas of art, theater, music, literacy, physical education, scrapbooking, etc. to engage students in related activities. Volunteers will have the opportunity to support teachers with setting up play and learning activities, reading with students, decorating classrooms, assisting children with breakfast and lunch, and lending a hand with other tasks.

Classroom volunteers are needed Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am-12pm. Head Start serves children ages three to five. 42% of the nearly 35,000 clients NVFS serves each year are children.
