The duties of the volunteer coordinator is to train, recruit, develop, coordinate and retain volunteers.
Provide orientation training.
Develop job descriptions.
Maintain appropriate records of client involvement.
Establish a system for recording volunteer hours and types of contributions.
Coordinate a volunteer appreciation recognition.
Provide annual report to executive director, supervisor relative to program and its participants.
Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities within the overall scope of the position which the supervisor may assign.

Description
MM Hope House provides food, clothing and toiletries to the homeless. We provide training and educational classes to empower our community and prepare them for the workforce. We provide job readiness training to anyone that feels they are in need. We prepare meals and feed the homeless. We are also working on obtaining a facility to open a shelter for homeless and abused women with their children. Ages ranges from birth to twelve years of age. This again will empower our community of women for the workforce and the opportunity to gain a sense of self worth and importance to our society.
