As a Schoolhouse Squad teen volunteer, aged 15-17, you have the opportunity to lead hands-on activities, heighten the experience of children and families by interacting with our visitors at our exhibits, assist the staff in classes and with birthday parties, and volunteer at special events.

We are currently accepting applications for the Summer 2019 team. All applicants are required to complete an application and go through a brief interview process.

Designed to give teens the experience of working in a museum and cultural environment, our Schoolhouse Squad Program teaches teens the importance of leadership, responsibility and communication; how to develop skills in securing their first job; the importance of community service and an opportunity to "network", meeting like-minded peers.
