We have volunteer opportunities available throughout 9 WNY counties - Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Orleans, and Wyoming counties. Troop leaders and assistant leaders work with a group of girls on a consistent basis. They assist the girls in planning activities that meet their interests - from crafts and songs to whitewater rafting and long-distance trips! Troops meet in various locations, on various days and times - all based around the volunteer's schedule. Troops may meet as little as once per month or as frequently as once a week, again dependent on the volunteer's schedule. We can recruit the girls, or assist you in their recruitment. You choose the age group you would like to work with. This is a perfect resume-building opportunity for those purusing education degrees! Girl Scout experience NOT required - full training provided!
