Mission Statement

The Story of Hospice Advantage More than 25 years of experience

Hospice Advantage is a Medicare, Medicaid Certified program providing superior end-of-life care services. Hospice Advantage was started to better serve the needs of terminally ill patients in the US. In November, 2004, Hospice Advantage was Founded by Rod Hildebrant, MSA, CHCE, a health care executive with more than 25 years experience in the home health care and hospice industries.

Leadership you can count on

Since November, 2004, new energy, commitment and direction have been established under the leadership of Kaye Mynsberge, RN. Ms. Mynsberge has a strong background in management, customer service and marketing. Ms. Mynsberge has devoted 20 years of her career to the development of hospice programs throughout the United States. Her 20 years in hospice administration and home care have given her insight into the best service delivery systems and needs of patients throughout the health care continuum.

Description

Well trained staff

The combined talents of Mr. Hildebrant and Ms. Mynsberge have begun to address the issues facing access to quality end-of-life care in the midwest and as such are change agents for the creation of more choices for patients with life-limiting illness.

Hospice continues to be under utilized. This fact is due to a myriad of issues facing hospice today. Although there are adequate numbers of hospice programs in the state, service capabilities vary, as well as resources designated to educate the health care professional and consumer. Hospice Advantage is committed to providing well-trained staff to work with hospitals, nursing homes, discharge planners, patients and families, and physicians. A major goal for Hospice Advantage is to promote a higher level of understanding about the Medicare Hospice Benefit, the Levels of Care, and Service Capability.

Quality of Living

Mr. Hildebrant and Ms. Mynsberge are focused on promoting the philosophy of "Quality In Living." Their interdisciplinary team of health care professionals and paraprofessionals operates on the belief that the care plan is driven by patients' choices and the manner that they wish to live out their lives. That approach creates a patient and family environment of hope, comfort, and dignity.
