Are you looking for a way to help with Japan's Disaster Relief in your local community?
Participating San Mateo County Library branches are working together to make a Senbazuru - a display of 1000 cranes strung together and given as a gift for long life or recovery.
If you enjoy folding origami and sharing that skill with others, we would love to host you at the Brisbane Library branch!
We will supply the paper and a relaxing atmosphere. Once we've gathered 1000 cranes, we will be donating them to Students Rebuild , where each crane folded will earn a $2 donation from the Bezos Family Foundation to Architecture for Humanity's reconstruction efforts in Japan.
We look forward to making a difference with your help!
