RSVP Volunteers use their professional experience in marketing, fund development, capacity building, videography, and organizational and financial management to help non-profit organizations with short term project. Volunteers give guidance on grant writing, using social media, technology tips, and more.
Hampshire County:
The Food Bank, Hatfield, MA: Use your skills for capacity building or to support ongoing projects and special events that have wide-spread impact on the area food pantries and shelters.
Williamsburg Senior Center, Williamsburg, MA: Help to write a newsletter, provide marketing or policy writing support, or build a database to develop a volunteer program. A volunteer with an interest/experience in organizing volunteers is a plus.
Ware Senior Center: Looking for a retired architect who can help read plans and work with the Director on improvements to the Center. Flexivle and short term.
Franklin County:
Franklin County Home Care, Turners Falls, MA: A volunteer with computer skills and an interest in fund development and /or marketing is needed to help in the Client Services area with the LGBT activities and meetings. Varied "gal or guy" Friday tasks and schedule. Help with programs that make a difference in the lives of many area seniors.
Volunteers to assist with marketing for the annual Meals on Wheels Walk a Thon on May 3, 2013 are needed.

Description
RSVP volunteers must be 55 years or older and volunteer in Hampden, Hampshire or Fanklin County, MA. RSVP matches a volunteer's skills and interests with community organizations in Western Massachusetts that need help. RSVP staff remains available to help volunteers achieve the most out of their service.
