VOLUNTEER DRIVERS: Mondays through Fridays from approximately 11:00AM until noon. Responsibilities: pick up the meals at our commercial kitchen at 35 Cerone Place in the City of Newburgh and deliver to our clients at their homes (Newburgh and New Windsor). Each route has between 10 and 12 meals. There are always TWO drivers per route, so you will not be going out alone. When finished for the day, return to our kitchen and turn in your insulated delivery bags. NOTE: Most volunteers sign up for a regular day each week; however, we also have a need for substitute drivers. We will work with your schedule. Required: a current NYS driver's license and, if you will be using your own car, a copy of your valid insurance certificate.
KITCHEN VOLUNTEERS: Mondays through Fridays from around 9:15 AM until 11:00 AM in our commercial kitchen at 35 Cerone Place in the City of Newburgh. You do not need to cook, as we have professionally-trained cooks. Volunteers prepare the clients' labels, help pack the meals and distribute the packages in insulated bags for the various routes.

Description
We employ professional cooks, but all other kitchen assistance and meal deliveries are done by volunteers. Our territory is the City of Newburgh, NY and the Towns of Newburgh and New Windsor, NY.
