Do you love being around horses? Have you always wanted to volunteer at a working Ranch? Are you a hard worker who doesn't mind getting a little dust on your boots? We are looking for dedicated and committed volunteers to help us with our programs and work around the ranch keeping the grounds beautiful. After volunteers have attained 20 hours, they receive a ranch t-shirt and all classes taken are offered at discounted prices "25% as continuing Volunteers" !!!! You are also eligible to participate in our annual parades and camping trips at discounted rates!
CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
SUMMER ADVENTURES & HORSEMANSHIP - Monday thru Friday (Summer) 6:30 am to 9:30 am Summer Adventures Camps for kids 5 to 13. The current need is for horse leaders, side-walkers and individuals to assist students groom & tack (experience preferred but NOT necessary).
Saturdays 6 am to 9:30 am - Therapeutic Riding for the Disabled. The current need is for horse leaders, side-walkers and coaches. (LEVEL ONE FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE CARD REQUIRED)
7 Days a Week 5 am & 6 pm (Summer) / 6:00 am & 6 pm (Winter) - Horse Maintenance (Mucking stalls, leveling stalls, feeding & watering horses)
You don't have to be a horse expert to work at the ranch. We can teach you every thing you need to know. Volunteering at Robinson Ranch is a wonderful experience and we guarantee you will leave with a smile.
Volunteer requirements: We ask that you participate in our volunteer orientation and be willing to commit to at least 2 hours a week volunteer time (which is about the length of the setup and completion of one program). ALSO, ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE FINGERPRINTED ONSITE through the Department of Public Safety's fingerprinting program. The cost for onsite fingerprinting is $10.

Description
Robinson Ranch is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that offers therapeutic riding to children and adults with disabilities. We also offer regular riding classes, Family Saddle Clubs and many other great programs.
