The Broomstick Ball is an annual Halloween-themed fundraiser that raises funds for local non-profits. Guests come in costume and enjoy passed appetizers, dinner, entertainment, silent auction, music and dancing. Volunteer opportunities include: registration, check-out, overseeing silent auction tables, selling raffle tickets and help with photo booth.
Hours of help run from 4 hours to remaining the entire evening. Volunteers MUST BE OVER 21-YEARS OF AGE.
Dinner is provided.

Mission Statement
The Mission of SILICON VALLEY CARES (SVC) is to raise funds for non-profit agencies and organizations benefiting children, teens, homeless, and crisis situations within the Santa Clara County. The goal of SVC is to raise the most amount of money with the least expenses to be dispersed back into the Santa Clara County.
Description
Silicon Valley Cares is a non-profit organization made up of over 75 volunteer women from all over Santa Clara County. Our main focus is to provide our community with an entertaining event called the Broomstick Ball which is an evening of networking, entertainment and compassion while raising funds for local non-profit organizations. Every year, non-profits within Santa Clara County apply for a grants from SVC. This year, we are pleased to be supporting Almaden Valley Counseling Service, Bill Wilson Center, CARE, and Parents Helping Parents. Last year, we were able to disburse 47% of our funds raised back to local organizations.
