Position Title: Workshop Facilitator
Department: Education - College Readiness
Location: Various
Commitment: At least 4 workshops per year. Workshops are held every other month on a Saturday, 8:30 am and 2:30 pm
Position Available: Immediately
Position Description and Duties: The College Readiness Program Workshop Facilitator, with the oversight of UFC staff, will supervise students during monthly workshops. This position will assist with implementation of lesson/activity, facilitation of small group work, distribution of lunch and snacks, monitoring workshop evaluation by the students. Volunteers will be monitoring student behavior; helping youth stay engaged and focused, as well as providing guidance and discipline, when appropriate.

UFC is dedicated to the premise that foster youth deserve a successful adulthood.
Through our Housing and Education Programs, foster youth are provided with the opportunity to graduate from high school, attend and graduate from college, get a job, find housing and have a support system that moves them gradually towards independence.
We are looking for dedicated volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of current and former foster youth. Individuals committed to providing educational and enrichment opportunities so that our youth may thrive.
UFC's volunteer program is designed to provide individuals with various ways to help. Whether you enjoy assisting in the office, or helping guide foster youth on their path to college, we welcome your support.
