Volunteer Today for the May 3 Run for the Children!

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Fairfax CASA

Calling all volunteers! Fairfax Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) seeks friendly, energetic volunteers to help out on May 3 for the Run for the Children 8K Race and 3K Run/Walk. The Run takes place on May 3 in historic Fairfax City, with runners starting from the Fairfax County court house complex in a symbolic nod to the CASA volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children under the court’s protection.

We seek volunteers to lend a helping hand by serving as course marshals for the race, guiding the runners and cheering them along.

From the very first Run for the Children in 2010, Fairfax CASA has been noted by Run Washington magazine as a nonprofit that "really knows how to run a race."

Ready right now to volunteer? Sign up now on the volunteer registration page or reply to this post to be contacted by the race coordinator.

Volunteer today and enjoy a great day on a great course for a great cause!
