Summer Reading Program

Ambassador

Description:

Are you looking for a fun and rewarding way to spend your summer? Help

out in the Summer Reading Program, which encourages children, teens, and

adults to read and stay active all summer long.

Activities

1. Promote the Summer Reading Program to parents and children and

encourage them to register.

2. Assist patrons with online registration and distribute incentives to

participants.

3. Assist library staff in preparing incentive packets to participants.

Desired Qualities

1. Minimum age: 13

2. Basic computer and Internet skills helpful

3. Enthusiastic and friendly

4. Ability to communicate with a diverse population.

5. Background check required

Training and Support

Training and materials will be provided.

Time Commitment

2 months, 6 hours a week
