Do you enjoy driving? Can you handle a 14 passenger van?

A local Senior Center seeks a volunteer to add the their roster of van drivers. If you're a person who likes to drive, can handle a 14 passenger van, and is available during the day this is for you!

These are all day trips around the greater Snohomish County area though sometimes you may go further both north and south. Most trips leave between 9 and 10 and return between 3 and 4.

Occasionally a Saturday or Sunday trip is planned but most are during the week.

You must have a good driving record and be insured. Once you are cleared the Center can put you on its insurance.

This is not a full time volunteer job. The Center has multiple drivers and tries to rotate the driving among them. Not being available when called does not put your volunteer job in danger.

Most trips have you getting the seniors to their destination and then waiting until they are done. Good time to read or knit or join in on the fun!
