Do you enjoy working with the elderly? Are you looking for meaningful service? Faith in Action is a nationally-recognized program that connects interfaith and community volunteers to their senior neighbors in need. Volunteers bring light back into their lives by providing services such as trips to the grocery store, telephone reassurance calls, visits, escorts to doctor appointments, home safety checks and more. Your personal contribution of time and energy is highly valued.

To enhance the quality of life for those aged 60 and older living in the Western Westmoreland Conty area by providing companionship and assistance.
Description
Trained volunteers provide free non-medical services to seniors such as supportive visits, telephone reassurance calls, transporation to doctor appointments and grocery shopping, supportive help around the home, primary caregiver relief, and home safety checks.
