We are in need of 3 volunteers with proof of insurance valid driver licenses for our van driver pool to drive the Beacon Van. We have several set errands and also need drivers who would be able to be on-call. This would include taking residents to appointments, picking up and delivering various items, or small shopping errands. No heavy lifting would be required and most of the errands would take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm.

Description
The Beacon of Life is a long term transitional housing facility with a 34 woman capacity. We strive to give women the strength and skills they need to live independently.
The women we serve come from many different backgrounds and individual situations. Some are homeless, other are coming from jails, prison, or other residential treatment programs. We offer many different classes and groups to help these women understand what got them in their particular situations, how to change their behaviors and how to become strong, independent women.
