Help students succeed! Middle schools and High schools in Kirkland, Redmond and Sammamish need tutors to help during after school study programs. You will work with students during lunchtime homework sessions or after school tutoring programs. You will be a resource to students by answering questions and offering guidance. Subjects include reading, writing, math, science and social studies. Staff will be present during study groups to answer student or volunteer questions.

Mission Statement
LINKS (Looking Into the Needs of Kids and Schools) places caring adult volunteers as Lunch Buddy mentors, academic mentors, and academic tutors (1:1 and in groups)in schools. Volunteers provide guidance to students to support their academic and social development.
Description
LINKS volunteers work with students who are not meeting academic standards; work with students who do not have a positive roll model at home; help teachers and classrooms that have minimal to no volunteer resources; and work with English Language Learners (ELL) who need additional support to thrive in our public schools.
