Love walking along the beach? That's all you need to do to help us monitor the Marine Protected Areas (MPA) in the Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Luis Obispo regions.
The Otter Project is seeking volunteers for MPA Watch, a citizen science network in support of Central California's Marine Protected Areas. Volunteers are trained to identify onshore and offshore ocean activities and collect data on resource use. And, we count otters!
For more information about the program and how you can become a steward of your local MPA, visit our sign up sheet here: https://app.etapestry.com/hosted/TheOtterProject/VolunteerForm.html
Or, simply email volunteer@otterproject.org
