The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteers to form teams and fundraise for the 16th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Rockford. Description
The American Cancer Society provides education to people to give them the tools to prevent cancer through good nutrition, increased physical activity, and proper prevention screenings.
We also offer free services to cancer patients in the state of Illinois. These services include transportaion to cancer treatment appointments, wig banks, and information at hospitals regarding cancer.
There are many volunteer opportunities available in these areas.
