Philanthro is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to empower young professionals to incorporate philanthropy into their daily lives. Offering Philanthropy-as-a-Platform, our core programs are structured to enable mass young professional philanthropic involvement and to support and develop the next generation of philanthropic leaders who are passionate about a cause.
We throw community events and parties to raise funds and awareness for carefully chosen non-profit charities. Our aim is to make philanthropy a lifestyle choice that is easily accessible to young adults, which is a demographic that is typically uninvolved. By doing so, we hope to inspire and create a new generation of philanthropic leaders.
We are an accomplished group of young professionals with full time jobs in fields of medicine, PR, marketing, startups, finance, accounting, real estate, and hospitality that want to do something meaningful with our spare time.
We are one chapter in the national 501(c)(3) non-profit, PHILANTHRO. Outside of San Diego, you can find us in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York.
