Guest ambassadors assist with greeting the guests, giving directions, answering questions, and being available to help out wherever needed. They will also learn basic information about several different exhibits and will help educate the guests.

This is a very flexible position with scheduling. As a guest-oriented organization, the help of guest ambassadors is always welcome.

Provide exceptional guest service to create a quality and memorable guest experience to all aquarium guests and members

  • Proactively engage and converse with guests

  • Assist in the efficiency of the admissions process by acting as a line host or ramp host.

  • Assist in monitoring the Splash Park area.

  • Administer guest exit surveys.

  • Act as an exhibit host for select exhibit areas as requested

  • Provide guests with the benefits and information related to TSA memberships.

  • Maintain cleanliness of work and public areas surrounding admissions, Splash Park, food court, and exhibits.

  • Entertain guests by periodically working as a mascot or mascot’s guide

  • Interact positively with all guests, staff members and volunteers.

  • Periodically act as a greeter for school groups providing information regarding aquarium rules and regulations.

  • Participate in training programs to further knowledge of TSA history, exhibits, safety, policies, and procedures.

  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Description

The Aquarium is designed to be an interpretive center focusing on the plants and animals native to the Gulf of Mexico. The visitor is taken on an undersea journey that begins at the shore and continues deeper into the waters of the Gulf.
